Each year, in celebration of our anniversary, we release a particularly special batch of our favorite Colorado Whiskey from our flagship rye mash bill.

"XV is fifteen years of 291 in a bottle, doing things our way. Making whiskey from scratch in Colorado, taking chances, making mistakes, learning from them, and never being afraid to break a few rules along the way.

For XV, I pulled from different barrel sizes and ages to build a whiskey that represents where 291 has been and where we are today. It’s spicy, rich and powerful at 129.1 proof, but there’s a balance and refinement that only comes with time.

I started 291 to make a whiskey that tasted like Colorado—big, bold and beautiful. Fifteen years later, that’s still what drives me every time we make whiskey. XV is a celebration of that journey and everyone who has been a part of it.
