291 E Colorado Whiskey Batch 14 is a limited release. We were excited to end up with more bottles than we expected, allowing us to offer it at a special price you don't usually see on our limited releases.

291 Colorado Whiskey is proud to announce the release of a pair of unique and limited edition whiskeys set to launch on July 4, 2024.

This exceptional dual release marks a significant milestone for 291, as it is the first time the distillery has finished its renowned Colorado whiskey in barrels outside of their own— 291’s bourbon and rye were finished in Kentucky barrels previously used to age heritage brands.

Michael Myers, Founding Distiller, expressed his excitement about the dual release: "Experimenting with finishing our Colorado whiskey in Kentucky barrels has allowed us to create something truly unique. These whiskeys embody the best of both worlds, combining the bold character of our whiskey with the distinctive qualities imparted by the Kentucky barrels.

We can't wait for whiskey enthusiasts to experience this exceptional spirit." Noting, the E14 & E15 are some of the oldest whiskeys Distillery 291 has ever released.

“Early on in the finishing process we weren’t seeing much impact from the Kentucky barrel finishing, so we just kept aging… Now I’m finding a lot more KY on the nose, and it drinks sweeter and softer than our flagship bourbon and rye whiskeys.”
